  According to the 1782 Frederick Co. Census, he had 7 white souls and was the father of Alexander Hite. -- Garner and Triplett: Early Births Western Frederick County, Va Eastern Hampshire County West Virginia, p. 69 The above source lists Alexander Hite and Elizabetha _____ Hite as well as Alexander and Catherine Nighberger Hite, giving numerous children to both.
