  There is some confusion as to whether Christina or Samuel was the first-born; however, the1800 Census, Buncombe Co. N.C. lists Benjamin with one female child. Henderson Heritage [ which JET believes to be unreliable], p 312 has Samuel as the elder--JET oved to Missouri -- Heritage of Henderson Co. N.C.
