Daughter and uncle or cousin?-- LKL Obituary of Caleb Taylor, b. 1799 and d. 1880 stated that his grandfather fell upon the battlefield in the American Revolution. Land deed sent to LKL by JET -- Is this for this particular Caleb Taylor?? Court Abstracts name Joshua Taylor (in 1782), Robert Taylor (in 1782) and Caleb Taylor (in 1783) to answer an inquisition of treason. Joshua and Robert requested jury trials, and both were acquitted.
