  Marian was a nurse in Detroit for many years. I remember her mother from one meeting when I was about 7 years old. I believe she went to Detroit to live with her daughter and died there. After her retirement, Marian returned to Marion Co. and lived in Hannibal. She wanted to be near her sister, Elise Smith. She wrote me a nice note when my mother died but later sent a card indicating that she thought Mom was still living. This would have been about 1992 or 1993.
